✧ While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was prostrating, with people around him, 'Uqbah b. Abi Mu'ayt came with the afterbirth of a slaughtered camel and threw it onto the back of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He did not lift his head. Then Fatimah came, removed it from his back, and supplicated against the one who did that. He said, 'O Allah, take the chiefs of Quraysh: Abu Jahl b. Hisham, 'Utbah b. Rabi'ah, Shaybah b. Rabi'ah, 'Uqbah b. Abi Mu'ayt, and Umayyah b. Khalaf or Ubayy b. Khalaf'—Shu'bah was uncertain. He said, 'I saw them on the Day of Badr when they were thrown into a well, except that Umayyah's limbs were torn apart, so he was not thrown into the well.'
