أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ الْعِجْلِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْغَافِرِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
«يَأْخُذُ رَجُلٌ بِيَدِ أَبِيهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ فَيُنَادَى أَلَا إِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ لَا يَدْخُلُهَا مُشْرِكٌ قَالَ فَيَقُولُ أَيْ رَبِّ أَبِي قَالَ فَيُحَوَّلُ فِي صُورَةٍ قَبِيحَةٍ وَرِيحٍ مُنْتِنَةٍ فَيَتْرُكُهُ»

✧ “A man will take his father by the hand on the Day of Resurrection, wanting to enter him into Paradise, but it will be called out: Indeed, no polytheist may enter Paradise. He will say: ‘O Lord, my father!’ Then he will be transformed into an ugly form and a foul odor, and he will leave him.”
