machine translationIt was narrated by Rawḥ b. al-Qāsim, Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah and Warqāʾ b. ʿUmar, from Ṭāwūs, from Ibn ʿAbbās, from ʿUmar. Ḥammād b. Zayd and Muḥammad b. Muslim al-Ṭāʾifī differed from them, from ʿAmr b. Dīnār, from Ṭāwūs, as a mursal report (mursal) from ʿUmar. And Ḥanẓalah b. Abī Sufyān narrated it from Ṭāwūs as a mursal report. The statement of Rawḥ b. al-Qāsim and Ibn ʿUyaynah is the correct one, because they are both reliable memorizers (ḥāfiẓ) and trustworthy (thiqah).
