✧ Two men sat with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, one of them more noble than the other. The noble one sneezed but did not praise Allah, and the other sneezed and praised Allah. The Prophet ﷺ responded to him, so the noble one said: O Messenger of Allah, I sneezed and you did not respond to me, but this one sneezed and you responded to him? The Prophet ﷺ said: “This one remembered Allah, so I remembered him; and you forgot, so I forgot you.”

machine translationThere was disagreement about it regarding al-Maqburī. Muḥammad b. ʿAjlān, ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Isḥāq, Ibn Jurayj and Abū Maʿshar narrated it from Saʿīd al-Maqburī from Abū Hurayrah. Ibn Abī Dhiʾb and Ibn Samʿān differed from them, and narrated it from al-Maqburī from his father from Abū Hurayrah. It seems that Ibn Abī Dhiʾb preserved it (best). Ibn Mubashshir narrated to us: Muḥammad b. Wazīr narrated to us: Isḥāq al-Azraq narrated to us, from Sufyān, from Muḥammad b. ʿAjlān, from Saʿīd, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: "Indeed Allah loves sneezing and dislikes or hates yawning. So when one of you says 'hah, hah', that is only Satan laughing in his belly."
