machine translationṢāliḥ b. Kaysān narrates it from al-Zuhrī, from the two of them (Saʿīd and Abū Salamah), from Abū Hurayrah. Maʿmar, Yūnus, Shuʿayb, Ibn Abī ʿAtīq, ʿUbaydullāh b. Abī Ziyād and Isḥāq b. Yaḥyā contradicted them: they narrated it from al-Zuhrī, from Abū Salamah alone, from Abū Hurayrah, and ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. Isḥāq followed them. Abū Marwān al-ʿUthmānī said, from Ibrāhīm b. Saʿd: Ṣāliḥ b. Kaysān narrated to me from Ibn Shihāb, from Saʿīd alone, from Abū Hurayrah; and from Ibrāhīm, from his father, from Abū Salamah, from Abū Hurayrah. Likewise ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz al-Mājishūn narrated it from Ibrāhīm b. Saʿd, from his father, from Abū Salamah, from Abū Hurayrah. Both versions are preserved (maḥfūẓ) from al-Zuhrī.
