✧ Abu Hurayrah said: «Ibrahim never lied except on three occasions: two were for the sake of Allah — His saying, {Indeed, I am ill} and His saying, {Rather, the largest of them did it}.» He said: «He passed by one of the tyrants, and with him was his wife Sarah. It was said to the tyrant: 'There is a man here with a woman among the most beautiful of people.' So he sent for him, and he came to him and entered upon him. He asked him, and he said: 'She is my sister.'» He said: «He came to her and said: 'This man asked me about you, and I told him that you are my sister. You are my sister in the Book of Allah, so do not contradict me.'» He said: «When he saw her, he went to assault her, so she called upon Allah and he was seized. He said: 'Call upon Allah for me, and I will not return.' So she called upon him, and he was released. Then he went to assault her, so she called upon Allah, and he was seized with a seizure more severe than the first. He said: 'Call upon Allah for me, and I will not return.' So she called upon him, and he was released. Then he went to assault her, so she called upon Allah, and he was seized with a seizure more severe than the first two. He said: 'Call upon Allah for me, and I will not return.' So she called upon him, and he was released. He said to the closest of his chamberlains: 'You have not brought me a human being; you have brought me a devil.' And he made Hajar serve her. When Ibrahim saw her, he said: 'What is the matter?' She said: 'Allah sufficed against the plot of the disbelieving, wicked one, and He has made Hajar serve me.'» Abu Hurayrah said: «When he narrated this hadith, he would say: 'That is your mother, O Banu Ma' al-Sama'.'»
