أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلَّادٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَوَانَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«مَا تَقُولُونَ فِي الصُّرَعَةِ؟ » قَالَ قُلْتُ الَّذِي لَا يَصْرَعُهُ الرِّجَالُ قَالَ «الصُّرَعَةُ الَّذِي يُمْسِكُ نَفْسَهُ عِنْدَ الْغَضَبِ»

✧ “What do you say about the wrestler?” I said, “The one whom men cannot throw down.” He said, “The wrestler is the one who controls himself at the time of anger.”
