أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَرَمِيُّ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
«حُرْمَةُ نِسَاءِ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِينَ كَحُرْمَةِ أُمَّهَاتِهِمْ وَمَا مِنْ قَاعِدٍ يَخْلُفُ مُجَاهِدًا فِي أَهْلِهِ بِسُوءٍ إِلَّا أُقِيمَ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ هَذَا خَلْفُكَ فِي أَهْلِكَ بِسُوءٍ فَخُذْ مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ»

✧ «The sanctity of the wives of the mujahidin upon those who remain behind is like the sanctity of their mothers. And no one who remains behind stays behind for a mujahid in his family with evil except that it is set up for him on the Day of Resurrection, and it is said to him: This is the one you stayed behind for in his family with evil, so take from his good deeds.»
