✧ The Virtue of Jihad

أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ

«مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ خَلْفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ كُتِبَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِهِ شَيْءٌ وَمَنْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا كُتِبَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِهِ شَيْءٌ»

✧ «Whoever equips a warrior in the path of Allah or stays behind with his family, the like of his reward is recorded for him, except that nothing is decreased from his reward. And whoever provides iftar for a fasting person, the like of his reward is recorded for him, nothing being decreased from his reward.»
