✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressing us during the Farewell Pilgrimage while he was on his she-camel al-Jad'a', and he stretched up in the stirrup of the saddle and said: 'O people.' A man at the back of the people said: What are you saying or what do you want? He said: 'Do you not hear? Obey your Lord, pray your five prayers, pay the zakat of your wealth, and obey your rulers, and you will enter the Paradise of your Lord.' I said to Abu Umamah: How old were you on that day when you heard this? He said: 'I heard it when I was thirty years old.'
