✧ I performed the Farewell Pilgrimage with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I saw Usamah or Bilal leading the she-camel of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ by its halter, and the other raising his garment to shade him from the heat, until he threw the pebbles at Jamrat al-'Aqabah. Then he left and people stood. He had placed his garment under his right armpit over his left shoulder. He said: I saw under his right cartilage something like a fist. Then he mentioned much speech. Among what he said ﷺ was: 'If a mutilated black slave is appointed over you and leads you by the Book of Allah, then hear and obey.' Then he said: 'Have I conveyed?'
