أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

جَاءَ سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أُمِّي مَاتَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا نَذَرٌ لَمْ تَقْضِهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اقْضِهِ عَنْهَا»

✧ Sa'd b. 'Ubadah came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "My mother died while she owed a vow she had not fulfilled." The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Fulfill it on her behalf."
