✧ A man emigrated to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from Yemen and said, “O Messenger of Allah, I have emigrated.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “You have left polytheism behind, but what about jihad? Do you have anyone in Yemen?” He said, “My parents.” He said, “Did they give you permission?” He said, “No.” He said, “Go back and ask their permission. If they permit you, then fight; otherwise, be dutiful to them.”
