✧ The companionship of married couples

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ

«إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْمَرْأَةِ كَالضِّلَعِ إِنْ أَرَدْتَ إِقَامَتَهَا كُسِرَتْ وَإِنَّ تَسْتَمْتِعْ بِهَا تَسْتَمْتِعْ بِهَا وَفِيهَا عِوَجٌ فَاسْتَمْتِعْ بِهَا عَلَى مَا كَانَ مِنْهَا مِنْ عِوَجٍ»

✧ “The likeness of a woman is like a rib. If you try to straighten it, it breaks. If you enjoy it, you enjoy it while it has a crookedness. So enjoy it despite the crookedness in it.”
