✧ The right of parents

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ مِسْعَرِ بْنِ كِدَامٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«مِنَ الْكَبَائِرِ أَنْ يَسُبَّ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ» قِيلَ وَكَيْفَ يَسُبُّ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ؟ قَالَ «يَتَعَرَّضُ لِلنَّاسِ فَيَسُبُّ وَالِدَيْهِ»

✧ Among the major sins is that a man reviles his parents." It was said, "And how does a man revile his parents?" He said, "He reviles people, and then they revile his parents.
