✧ The right of parents

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّاجِرُ بِمَرْوَ حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى الْمَرْوَزِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُخَاصِمُ أَبَاهُ فِي دَيْنٍ عَلَيْهِ فقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَنْتَ وَمَالُكَ لِأَبِيكَ»

✧ A man came to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ arguing with his father about a debt owed to him. The Prophet ﷺ said, "You and your wealth belong to your father."
