أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَازِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ نَاجِيَةَ الْخُزَاعِيِّ وَكَانَ صَاحِبَ بُدْنِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ أَصْنَعُ بِمَا عَطِبَ مِنَ الْبُدْنِ قَالَ «انْحَرْهَا ثُمَّ أَلْقِ نَعْلَهَا فِي دَمِهَا ثُمَّ خَلِّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَلْيَأْكُلُوهَا»

✧ I said, “O Messenger of Allah, what should I do with the sacrificial camels that become exhausted?” He said, “Slaughter it, then dip its sandal in its blood, then leave it and the people, so they may eat it.”
