✧ Allowing women to perform Hajj without a guardian against those who disapprove

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْبَزَّارُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ الْحَجَّ أَفَأَحُجُّ عَنْهُ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «نَعَمْ فَحُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ»

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Messenger of Allah, my father is an old man who is not able to perform Hajj. Should I perform Hajj on his behalf? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Yes, perform Hajj on behalf of your father."
