✧ He performed Hajj with his masters. He said: I came to Umm Salamah and said: O Mother of the Believers, I have never performed Hajj. With which of the two should I begin, the Hajj or the Umrah? She said: If you wish, perform Umrah before you perform Hajj, and if you wish, after you perform Hajj. I went to Safiyyah and she said to me the same. I returned to Umm Salamah and informed her of what Safiyyah said. Umm Salamah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “O family of Muhammad, whoever of you performs Hajj, let him enter ihram for Umrah within a Hajj.”
