أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ فَيَّاضٍ بِدِمَشْقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جَابِرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ رَبٍّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ
«إِنَّمَا الْعَمَلُ كَالْوِعَاءِ إِذَا طَابَ أَعْلَاهُ طَابَ أَسْفَلُهُ وَإِذَا خَبُثَ أَعْلَاهُ خَبُثَ أَسْفَلُهُ»
