✧ I sat with Abu Hanifah in Makkah, and a man came to him and said, "I wore khuffs while in ihram" or he said, "I wore trousers while in ihram"—Ibrahim was unsure. Abu Hanifah said to him, "You owe a sacrifice." He said, "I said to the man, 'Did you find sandals or find an izar?'" He said, "No." I said, "O Abu Hanifah, this man claims he did not find them." He said, "It is the same whether he found them or did not find them."
