✧ The warning for those who prevent Zakat

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي يَحْيَى الْأَسْلَمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ

بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُقَسِّمُ ذَهَبًا إِذْ أَتَاهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَعْطِنِي فَأَعْطَاهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ زِدْنِي فَزَادَهُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ وَلَّى مُدْبِرًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يَأْتِينِي الرَّجُلُ فَيَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيهِ ثُمَّ يَسْأَلُنِي فَأُعْطِيهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ وَلَّى مُدْبِرًا وَقَدْ جَعَلَ فِي ثَوْبِهِ نَارًا إِذَا انْقَلَبَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ»

✧ While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was distributing gold, a man came to him and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, give me.' He gave him. Then he said, 'Give me more,' and he gave him more three times. Then the man turned away. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'A man comes to me and asks me, and I give him, then he asks me again, and I give him three times, then he turns away, having placed fire in his garment to take back to his family.'
