✧ "That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) made a bond of brotherhood between Salman and Abu Darda. Salman visited Abu Darda and found Umm Darda in a bad state. Salman asked her: 'What is the matter with you?' She replied: 'Your brother (meaning Abu Darda) has no need in this world.' When Abu Darda returned, he welcomed Salman and presented food to him. Salman said: 'Eat.' Abu Darda said: 'I am fasting.' Salman said: 'I will not eat until you eat.' So, Abu Darda ate with him. Then when it was night, Abu Darda got up to offer the prayer, and Salman detained him. When the morning arrived, Abu Darda said: 'Stand up now.' Salman got up and they prayed together. When the Prophet (ﷺ) prayed Subh (morning prayer), he came to him and informed him of what Salman had said. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'He has spoken the truth.'"
