✧ Saad complained, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to him accompanied by Abdurrahman ibn Awf, Saad ibn Abi Waqqas, and Abdullah ibn Masood. When they entered, they found him unconscious. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, he has passed away!" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then wept, and when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wept, they also wept. He said, "Do you not hear? Indeed, Allah, the Almighty and Exalted, does not punish with the tears of the eyes or the sorrow of the heart, but He punishes with this," and he pointed to his tongue.
