✧ The Prophet ﷺ took a pledge from the women when they gave him their allegiance that they would not wail. They said, 'O Messenger of Allah, there are women who helped us in wailing during Jahiliyyah; shall we help them in Islam?' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'There is no helping in wailing in Islam, and no shighar marriage in Islam, and no hamstringing of animals in Islam, and no jalab and no janab, and whoever plunders is not one of us.'
