أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ قَالَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ حَاطِبٍ يَقُولُ

انْصَبَّتْ عَلَى يَدَيْ مَرَقَةٌ فَأَحْرَقَتْهَا فَذَهَبَتْ بِي أُمِّي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأَتَيْنَاهُ وَهُوَ فِي الرَّحْبَةِ فَأَحْفَظُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ» وَأَكْثَرُ عِلْمِي أَنَّهُ قَالَ «أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شَافِيَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ»

✧ Some broth spilled on my hands and burned them. My mother took me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and we came to him while he was in al-Rahbah. I remember that he said: “Remove the affliction, Lord of the people.” And most of my knowledge is that he said: “You are the Healer; there is no healer except You.”
