أَخْبَرَنَا حَامِدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ الْبَلْخِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا لَمْ يَزَلْ يَخُوضُ الرَّحْمَةَ حَتَّى يَجْلِسَ فَإِذَا جَلَسَ غُمِرَ فِيهَا»

✧ "Whoever visits a sick person continues to wade through mercy until he sits down; and when he sits down, he is immersed in it."
