Sahih Ibn Hibban 29

✧ Chapter: Mention of the positive consequences of attributing something to the Prophet ﷺ without knowledge of its authenticity entering the Fire.

أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى السِّخْتِيَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«مَنْ حَدَّثَ حَدِيثًا وَهُوَ يَرَى أَنَّهُ كَذِبٌ فَهُوَ أَحَدُ الْكَاذِبِينَ»
