أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ بْنِ وَرْدَانَ بِالْفُسْطَاطِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْهَيْثَمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ إِنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ «إِذْ كَانَ بِالْعِرَاقِ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْجُمُعَةِ سُورَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ {إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ} » فَقَالَ

أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ كَذَلِكَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَرَأَ

    يرويه جعفر بن محمد واختلف عنه فرواه أبو أويس عن جعفر عن أبيه عن جابر وغيره يرويه عن جعفر عن أبيه عن عبيد الله بن أبي رافع عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو الصواب واختلف عن الثوري وعن شعبة في ذلك فقيل عن الثوري عن جعفر عن أبيه عن أبي نافع عن علي والمحفوظ عن أبي رافع وقيل عن شعبة عن جعفر عن أبيه عن أبي رافع عن علي وعن شعبة عن الحكم عن أبي جعفر أن عليا قاله عبد الرحيم المعولي عن عبد القاهر بن شعيب عن شعبة

    machine translationJaʿfar b. Muḥammad narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Abū Uways narrated it from Jaʿfar, from his father, from Jābir. Others narrate it from Jaʿfar, from his father, from ʿUbaydullāh b. Abī Rāfiʿ, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ, and this is the correct (ṣawāb) one. There is also disagreement about al-Thawrī and Shuʿbah in this matter. It was said from al-Thawrī, from Jaʿfar, from his father, from Abū Nāfiʿ, from ʿAlī, but the preserved (maḥfūẓ) version is from Abū Rāfiʿ. And it was said from Shuʿbah, from Jaʿfar, from his father, from Abū Rāfiʿ, from ʿAlī; and from Shuʿbah, from al-Ḥakam, from Abū Jaʿfar, that ʿAlī said it. This was narrated by ʿAbd al-Raḥīm al-Maʿwalī, from ʿAbd al-Qāhir b. Shuʿayb, from Shuʿbah.
