أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَيَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَطَبَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَرَأَى عَلَيْهِمْ ثِيَابَ النِّمَارِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَا عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ إِنْ وَجَدَ سَعَةً أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ ثَوْبَيْنِ لِجُمُعَتِهِ سِوَى ثَوْبَيْ مِهْنَتِهِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ gave a sermon on Friday and saw upon them garments of namirah (striped wool). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Why should one of you, if he finds the means, not take two garments for his Friday, other than his two working garments?'
