✧ I witnessed the Prophet ﷺ at al-Batha while he was in a red tent, and with him were some people. Bilal came and gave the call to prayer, then he started turning his mouth here and there. Sufyan said: meaning by saying 'Hayya ala al-salah, Hayya ala al-falah.' He said: And he brought out the leftover water of the Prophet's ﷺ ablution, and the people took from it, some getting it and some sprinkling it, until a child would insert his hand under the armpits of the people and reach it. Bilal planted a spear in front of him, and a donkey, a woman, and a dog passed and were not prevented. He prayed Zuhr as two rak'ahs, then he prayed two rak'ahs, two rak'ahs, until he arrived in Madinah.

  • أبو علي الطوسي كردوش

حسن صحيح قال مغلطاي وليس هذا منه تصحيحا لحديث حجاج إنما أراد تصحيح حديث أبي جحيفة في نفس الأمر وكذلك هو صحيح الأصل

machine translationGood and sound (ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ). Mughulṭāy said: This is not a declaration of soundness for the ḥadīth of Ḥajjāj; rather he meant to declare sound the ḥadīth of Abū Juḥayfah in itself, and likewise it is sound in its origin.
