✧ I ate garlic, then I came to the place of prayer of the Prophet ﷺ and found that he had preceded me by one rak'ah. When I stood to make it up, he noticed the odor of garlic and said: 'Whoever eats of this vegetable should not come near our mosque until its odor goes away.' Al-Mughirah said: 'When I finished the prayer, I came to him and said: O Messenger of Allah, I have an excuse. Give me your hand.' He gave me his hand, and I found it, by Allah, smooth. I put it inside my sleeve up to my chest, and he found it bandaged. He said: 'You have an excuse.'
