✧ The Obligation of Faith

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ عَنِ ابْنِ جَابِرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَيْرُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ حَدَّثَنِي جُنَادَةُ بْنُ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُبَادَةُ بْنُ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَأَنَّ عِيسَى عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولُهُ وَكَلِمَتُهُ أَلْقَاهَا إِلَى مَرْيَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِنْهُ وَأَنَّ الْجَنَّةَ وَالنَّارَ حَقٌّ أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ أَيِّ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ الثَّمَانِيَةِ شَاءَ»

✧ «Whoever bears witness that there is no god but Allah alone with no partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, and that Jesus is the servant of Allah and His Messenger and His word which He cast to Mary and a spirit from Him, and that Paradise and Hell are true, Allah will admit him through whichever of the eight gates of Paradise He wills.»
