✧ The Obligation of Faith

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَوْضِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ
«الْمُؤْمِنُ إِذَا شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَعَرَفَ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي قَبْرِهِ فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا {يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ} »

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said, "When a believer testifies that there is no deity except Allah and acknowledges Muhammad as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in his grave, then this is the saying of Allah, the Exalted, 'Allah keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word, in worldly life and in the Hereafter.'"
