✧ Ka'b swore to him by the One who split the sea for Musa that we find in the Book that Dawud the Prophet ﷺ, when he left the prayer, said: "O Allah, set right for me my religion, which You made for me as the protection of my affair, and set right for me my worldly life, in which You placed my livelihood. O Allah, I seek refuge with You through Your pleasure from Your wrath, and with Your pardon from Your punishment, and I seek refuge with You from You. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and the fortune of a person of fortune does not avail him against You." And Ka'b narrated to me that Suhayb narrated to him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say these when he left his prayer.
