أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا كَامِلُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ

كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي صَلَاتِهِ «اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الثَّبَاتَ فِي الْأَمْرِ وَعَزِيمَةَ الرُّشْدِ وَشُكْرَ نِعْمَتِكَ وَحُسْنَ عِبَادَتِكَ وَأَسْأَلُكَ قَلْبًا سَلِيمًا وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا تَعْلَمُ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا تَعْلَمُ وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا تَعْلَمُ»

✧ He used to say in his prayer: “O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in the matter, resolve in right guidance, gratitude for Your favor, and excellence in worshipping You. I ask You for a sound heart, and I ask You for the good of what You know, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know, and I ask Your forgiveness for what You know.”
