✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood for prayer, he faced the qiblah and raised his hands until they were level with his shoulders, then said, "Allahu Akbar." When he bowed, he said takbir and raised his hands as he bowed. Then he straightened his back, without lowering his head or drawing it in. Then he said, "Allah hears those who praise Him," and raised his hands until they were level with his shoulders. Then he stood straight until every bone returned to its position, straight. Then he went down to the ground, saying, "Allahu Akbar," and prostrated, keeping his upper arms away from his sides and facing the tips of his toes toward the qiblah. Then he raised his head and said, "Allahu Akbar," and folded his left leg and sat on it, straight until every bone returned to its position, straight. Then he said, "Allahu Akbar," then returned and prostrated. Then he raised his head and said, "Allahu Akbar." Then he folded his left leg and sat on it until every bone returned to its position. Then he stood up and did the same in the other rak'ah. When he stood up from the two rak'ahs, he said takbir and did as he did at the start of the prayer. When it was the prostration that is the end of the prayer, he raised his head from them, moved his leg back, and sat mutawarrikan on his leg ﷺ.
