✧ The virtue of the five daily prayers

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى أَبُو يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا هِلَالُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«صَلَاةُ الرَّجُلِ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ تَزِيدُ عَلَى صَلَاتِهِ وَحْدَهُ بِخَمْسٍ وَعِشْرِينَ دَرَجَةً فَإِنْ صَلَّاهَا بِأَرْضِ قِيٍّ فَأَتَمَّ وُضُوءَهَا وَرُكُوعَهَا وَسُجُودَهَا تُكْتَبُ صَلَاتُهُ بِخَمْسِينَ دَرَجَةً»

✧ A man's prayer in congregation exceeds his prayer alone by twenty-five degrees. If he prays it in a barren land, perfecting its ablution, its bowing, and its prostration, his prayer is recorded as fifty degrees.
