✧ Tie the waterskins, shut the doors when you sleep at night, and cover food and drink, for the devil comes. If he does not find the door shut, he enters; if he does not find the waterskin tied, he drinks from it; but if he finds the door shut and the waterskin tied, he does not untie a waterskin and does not open a shut door. If one of you cannot find something to cover his vessel that contains his drink, let him place a stick across it.
