✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us four things and forbade us five: When you go to sleep, shut your door, tie your waterskin, cover your vessel, and extinguish your lamp, for the devil does not open a door, nor untie a waterskin, nor uncover a cover. And the mouse, the little transgressor, may burn the people of a house in their house. And do not eat with your left hand, do not drink with your left hand, do not walk in a single sandal, do not wrap yourself in al-samma' (a way of wearing cloth that leaves no opening for the arms), and do not sit with your knees up while wrapped in a single garment, exposing your private parts.
