أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ بِعَسْقَلَانَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ أَخْبَرَنَا مُلَازِمُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَدْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسُ بْنُ طَلْقٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ
كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَتَاهُ أَعْرَابِيٌّ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَحَدَنَا يَكُونُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَيَحْتَكُّ فَتُصِيبُ يَدُهُ ذَكَرَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «وَهَلْ هُوَ إِلَّا بَضْعَةٌ مِنْكَ أَوْ مُضْغَةٌ مِنْكَ»

✧ He said: We were with the Prophet ﷺ when a Bedouin came to him and said: “O Messenger of Allah, one of us may be in prayer and scratch himself, and his hand touches his penis.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Is it but a piece of you or a morsel of you?”
