وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ قَالَ:
أَتَانَا كِتَابُ عُمَرَ وَنَحْنُ بِخَانِقِينَ: إِنَّ الْأَهِلَّةَ بَعْضُهَا أَكْبَرُ مِنْ بَعْضٍ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الْهِلَالَ نَهَارًا فَلَا تُفْطِرُوا حَتَّى يَشْهَدَ رَجُلَانِ مُسْلِمَانِ أَنَّهُمَا أَهَلَّاهُ بِالْأَمْسِ
