حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ الرِّشْكُ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ:
بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ سَرِيَّةً وَاسْتَعْمَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَلِيًّا، فَصَنَعَ عَلِيٌّ شَيْئًا أَنْكَرُوهُ، فَتَعَاقَدَ أَرْبَعَةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ [يَذْكُرُوا أَمْرَهُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ] [١]، وَكَانُوا إِذَا قَدِمُوا مِنْ سَفَرٍ بَدَؤُوا بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَسَلَّمُوا عَلَيْهِ وَنَظَرُوا إِلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ يَنْصَرِفُونَ إِلَى رِحَالِهِمْ، قَالَ: فَلَمَّا قَدِمَتِ السَّرِيَّةُ سَلَّمُوا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَامَ أَحَدُ الْأَرْبَعَةِ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا صَنَعَ كَذَا وَكَذَا، فَأَقْبَلَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ [٢]يُعْرَفُ الْغَضَبُ فِي وَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ: مَا تُرِيدُونَ مِنْ عَلِيٍّ ؟ مَا تُرِيدُونَ مِنْ عَلِيٍّ ؟ عَلِيٌّ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْ عَلِيٍّ، وَعَلِيٌّ وَلِيُّ كُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ بَعْدِي
