حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنِ الْحَيِّ
أَنَّ غُلَامًا مِنْ قَوْمِهِ دَخَلَ عَلَى نَجِيبَةٍ لِزَيْدِ بْنِ صُوحَانَ فِي دَارِهِ، فَخَبَطَتْهُ فَقَتَلَتْهُ، فَجَاءَ أَبُوهُ بِالسَّيْفِ فَعَقَرَهَا، فَرُفِعَ ذَلِكَ إِلَى عُمَرَ، فَأَهْدَرَ دَمَ الْغُلَامِ، وَضَمَّنَ أَبَاهُ ثَمَنَ النَّجِيبَةِ
