✧ What they said about the man who swears an oath by divorce concerning something, then forgets and does it, or by manumission

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ:
حَلَفَ أَخِي عُمَرُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ: بِعْتِقِ جَارِيَةٍ لَهُ أَلَّا يَشْرَبَ مِنْ يَدِهَا إِلَى أَجَلٍ ضَرَبَهُ، فَنَسِيَ قَبْلَ الْأَجَلِ، فَشَرِبَ، فَاسْتَفْتَيْتُ لَهُ عَطَاءً وَمُجَاهِدًا وَسَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ وَعَلِيًّا الْأَزْدِيَّ وَكُلُّهُمْ رَأَى أَنَّهَا حُرَّةٌ
