حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ
أَنَّ أُمَّ الْبَنِينَ بِنْتَ [١]عُيَيْنَةَ بْنِ حِصْنٍ كَانَتْ تَحْتَ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ فَلَمَّا حُصِرَ طَلَّقَهَا، وَقَدْ كَانَ أَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهَا يَشْتَرِي مِنْهَا ثَمَنَهَا فَأَبَتْ، فَلَمَّا قُتِلَ أَتَتْ عَلِيًّا فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ: تَرَكَهَا حَتَّى إِذَا أَشْرَفَ عَلَى الْمَوْتِ طَلَّقَهَا، فَوَرَّثَهَا
