The story of Noah (peace be upon him)
صَوْمِهِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ قَالَ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ بسنده عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ أَبِي فِرَاسٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: صَامَ نُوحٌ الدَّهْرَ إِلَّا يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ، وَالْأَضْحَى، وَصَامَ دَاوُدُ نِصْفَ الدَّهْرِ، وَصَامَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ صَامَ الدَّهْرَ وَأَفْطَرَ الدَّهْرَ.
Translation
✧ His fasting ﷺ Al-Ṭabarānī said with his chain of transmission from Yazīd b. Rabāḥ Abū Firās that he heard ʿAbd Allāh b. ʿAmr say: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: Noah fasted the entire age except the day of Fiṭr and the day of Aḍḥā, and David fasted half the age, and Abraham fasted three days of every month; he fasted the age and broke the fast the age.
