The Prophet's emigration ﷺ
[بِنَاؤُهُ ﷺ بِعَائِشَةَ ؓ ] وَفِي هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ: بَنَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِعَائِشَةَ ؓ فِي شَوَّالٍ. وَقَدْ قِيلَ: فِي السَّنَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ. وَالْأَوَّلُ أَصَحُّ. وَكَانَ تَزَوَّجَهَا قَبْلَ الْهِجْرَةِ بِثَلَاثِ سِنِينَ. وَقِيلَ: كَانَ الْبِنَاءُ بِهَا يَوْمَ الْأَرْبِعَاءِ فِي مَنْزِلِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ؓ بِالسَّنْحِ.
Translation
✧ [His consummation of marriage with ʿĀʾishah ؓ] In this year the Messenger of Allah ﷺ consummated his marriage with ʿĀʾishah ؓ in Shawwāl. It has also been said: in the second year. The former is more correct. He had married her three years before the Hijrah. It has also been said: the consummation with her took place on Wednesday in the dwelling of Abū Bakr ؓ at al-Sunḥ.
