The Night Journey and the Ascension
وَأَتَى عَلَى حَجَرٍ صَغِيرٍ يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ ثَوْرٌ عَظِيمٌ، فَجَعَلَ الثَّوْرُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ مِنْ حَيْثُ خَرَجَ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُ، فَقَالَ: مَا هَذَا يَا جِبْرِيلُ ؟ قَالَ: هَذَا الرَّجُلُ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِالْكَلِمَةِ الْعَظِيمَةِ ثُمَّ يَنْدَمُ عَلَيْهَا فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَرُدَّهَا.
Translation
✧ He came upon a small rock from which a huge bull emerged. The bull tried to go back whence it had come, but it could not. He said: "What is this, O Jibrīl?" He said: "This is the man who utters a great word then regrets it, and he cannot take it back."
