Genealogy of Our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Some Accounts of His Forefathers and Ancestors

Translation

✧ Ibn Isḥāq related, saying: ʿAbd Allāh b. Abī Bakr narrated to me from ʿAmrah from ʿĀʾishah, who said: I indeed saw the elephant's driver and its keeper in Makkah, both blind and crippled, begging for food. It was previously mentioned that the elephant's keeper was named Unays. As for its driver, he was not named. And Allah knows best. Al-Naqqāsh mentioned in his Tafsīr that the flood carried away their corpses and cast them into the sea.
